A suitably qualified and experienced rotational Chief Engineer (Minimum Y3) is required for a private/charter 40m+ motor yacht based in Europe, with Mediterranean cruising and plans for destinations further afield. The ideal candidate should show a track record within the yacht industry and a full range of mechanical, electrical and electronic skills to meet the vessels maintenance and operational requirements. The vessel operates with a Deck / Engineer to assist in planned and unplanned maintenance. The right person for this role should be a team player and must be willing to give of their best at all times, assisting all departments with a friendly and positive demeanour.
Candidates are to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and be willing to take a booster shot. The start date for this role is within the next 4-6 weeks and joining will be in a shipyard in the Eastern Mediterranean. Couples will be considered for this role.
