Job Advert

A highly qualified and experienced 2nd Mate is required for DP2 vessel operated by a Middle Eastern Offshore company.  Candidates need to have good experience as well as a minimum of 12 months on AHTS / PSV DP vessels.  The role is a challenging position for the right individual supporting and learning from the Master and Chief Mate.  Role is offering rotation 120 days on, 90 days off. 
 
The start date is TBD.
 
Candidates need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and be willing to travel on short notice. 

Job Specification

-  Valid STCW '10 certifications
-  Valid Medical Certificate with no restrictions.
-  Valid Designated Security Awareness Certificate
-  Must have 12 months experience on AHTS / PSV DP vessel 
-  Must speak good English (Marlins test - Min 70% as overall score and subject score min 60%)
-  Second Mate STCW II/2 Unlimited
-  DP2 Qualified 

Benefits

-  Salary of USD $200 / day
-  OBP bonus USD $25 / day
-  Half daily rate during familiarization period
-  Rotation 120 days on, 90 days off.
