A suitably qualified and experienced Doctor is required for a MY100m+ superyacht based in the Mediterranean Sea and Middle East.  The ideal candidate should hold an internationally recognized degree or equivalent in medicine and be board-registered as a Doctor or Physician. It is preferred that you have experience working at sea on ships, vessels, cruise ships, or yachts over 70 meters, but all candidates will be considered. The right candidate should also hold an ACLS, ATLS, and/or PALS certificate and have excellent knowledge and extensive experience with cardiac and primary care, trauma, internal, and emergency medicine. You will report to the captain and yacht management on all medical matters onboard.

The start date for this role is December 1, 2023, and you are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19

All nationalities and genders will be considered but male candidates will be preferred. 
 
THERE ARE TWO ROLES AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION. One now in December and another next year in February 2024.

Job Specification
  • Valid STCW '10 Certificates
  • Valid ENG1 medical with no restrictions
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
  • Proficiency in Crowd Management and Human Behaviour (CMHB)
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Seamans Book
  • Experience on a ship or vessel (not necessarily a yacht) over 70 meters will be well received.
  • Board registered as a doctor or physician.
  • ACLS, ATLS, or PALS certificate well received.
  • Good health and good sobriety
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
  • Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
  • No visible tattoos
