A competent, well-qualified, and experienced First Officer is URGENTLY required for a 100-meter+ vessel based in the UAE. The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of Masters 3000 GT or higher and should be available to fly within the next 2–3 days. The vessel is state-of-the art and there is an incredible multinational team onboard. Reporting to the Captain and under the leadership of the Chief Officer, you will be required to support the bridge team in meeting the administrative and operational requirements of the vessel. This role is suited to a hard-working, effective communicator, and strong leader. This role is perfect for someone looking to propel their career to the next level in the 100-meter+ yacht arena.

The start date is IMMEDIATE and the joining location will be somewhere in the UAE.

Job Specification

Valid STCW '10 Certificates
Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
Valid Seamans Book and Passport
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
Profciency in Security Awareness (PSA) and Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
Navigational watchkeeping (ll/2)
GMDSS
Crowd Management Certificate
Crisis Management Certificate.
ECDIS General and Type Specific Training
Bridge Team Management
HELM
Ship Security Officer (SSO)
Advanced Fire Fighting
Medical First Aid
Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, other than fast rescue boats
Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats
Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience on a vessel over 80m
Minimum Masters 3000 GT or higher with preference Unlimited tickets
Excellent leadership skills and professionalism
Good health and good sobriety
Must speak fluent English
Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
No visible tattoos and no smokers
Male candidates only
