A fit, keen, experienced, and hard-working temporary second engineer is required for a 60-meter new-build vessel based in North America with an upcoming crossing to Europe. The vessel has state-of-the-art propulsion systems, full ISM, and operates as a commercial vessel. The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of Y4 but preferably Y3 or a higher Certificate of Competency. The right engineer should have excellent hands-on mechanical skills and aptitude, be able to follow instructions with ease, and be willing to come in and hit the ground running, supporting the crew and engineering team to highest standards.
There is no COVID-19 requirement. Candidate must possess the passport and/or visas to enter the USA and any Schengen states to apply for this role.
This role starts 22 April 2024 and ends 1 June 2024. Slight allowances may be considered for the right candidate.
Candidate in the USA or Europe will be preferred due to travel arrangements.
