A 40m+ sailing vessel, based in the Pacific Ocean, requires a qualified, permanent First Engineer to join its team of maritime professionals. The suitable candidate should be an avid sailor and have experience sailing large sail yachts, as well as the technical and mechanical ability to operate and maintain all of the systems onboard. The candidate should be able to work well within a small team, have the capacity to work independently and the confidence to take responsibility for the engineering department. The position offers a number of benefits including a flexible time off structure, flag state social security and health insurance membership. The successful candidate will join the vessel on charter on 10 July 2019 followed by a short stay in dry-dock and an end-of-year island charter.
