A New Build Project Engineer with a minimum Y1 class ticket and with new build yacht experience is required for a 50m motor vessel being built in a modern Mediterranean shipyard.  The ideal candidate should present as highly competent, mechanically and electrically trained and possess the necessary skills to manage such a project, delivering on all levels throughout the construction process.  As the lead engineer on the project you will be required to report and document all works as well as complete final testing and commissioning of all onboard systems and machinery.  Knowledge and experience of class regulations and specifications is a must together with an ability to manage tasks effectively according to strict project deadlines and outcomes.  The vessel launch date is set for April 2023.  Relocation to the new build location will be required as this is a permanent placement. 
Job Specification
-  Certificate of Competency - Y1 Chief Engineers ticket or higher.
-  Must have new build experience and considerable time at sea would be advantageous
-  Must have STCW '10 qualifications for sea trialing and vessel movements
-  Medical ENG1
-  Must be of good health, good sobriety and up to the active requirements of the position.
-  No criminal record
-  Able and willing to met all COVID-19 travel and quarantine obligations
-  EU passport holders or legally allowed to work in the EU.
-  Able and willing to be tested for COVID-19
