A competent, highly skilled and well rounded AVIT Officer is required for a 110M+ motor yacht with a global cruising itinerary currently based in the Mediterranean Sea. Working within the ETO & AVIT team the ideal candidate should possess a deep knowledge of high-end IT network infrastructure (i.e. VSAT, 4G/5G GSM & CISCO products) and display the experience to match. Maintaining the vessel's unique onboard systems to the highest standard, you shall be required to tackle problems with speed and accuracy whilst working independently and inline with department objectives. The right candidate should also be able to support and add-value in longer term, capital investment decisions, to constantly improve onboard infrastructure. This role does require you to hold Microsoft and CISCO approved formal training. Certified formal training on AV and Navigational Equipment will be well received however an ETO CoC is not a requirement of this role.
The successful candidate shall join the vessel in the Mediterranean on 15 Jul 2021 and shall enter into quarantine onboard for 7 days.Two PCR tests to be conducted prior to joining the crew and initiating crew duties. There are currently no pre-joining COVID vaccination requirements for this role.
