A hands on, enthusiastic, and highly motivated permanent 2nd Engineer is required for a new build 65m motor yacht based in the Mediterranean Sea. The selected candidate will join the vessel in the shipyard as soon as possible and complete the final preparation of the yacht prior to final departure in 2 months time. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical and electrical skills as well as the ability to operate and maintain a fair portion of the onboard AV/IT equipment. Training will be offered by the AV/IT system supplier prior to departure. The vessel upon launch will operate as private with roughly 2 months charter and spending winters in Italy. This vessel puts particular importance on crew dynamics and ones personal character and thus the right engineer will be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently and as well as a team player, to the highest standards and in line with the vessel's ethos.
This position does not require you to be vaccinated for COVID-19 at this point in time and it is an immediate start.
