A permanent role for a Middle Eastern based Oil company is now available for an appropriately qualified Senior Electrical Engineer.  As a member of a small but highly skilled engineering maintenance team, the role's main responsibilities will be maintaining field based breakdowns, operational support and project based installations.  The candidate is required to have 10+ years in a similar position, servicing offshore installations and must have an HND or equivalent qualification.  The start date for this role is 1st October 2018.  All nationalities welcome to apply.
Job Specification
  • HND or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ Years experience in a similar role
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical faults and failures
  • Lead the design and implementation of high voltage sub-sea installations
  • Must be highly competent in the creation and interpretation of electrical drawings
  • Knowledge and experience in the production and distribution of marine diesel electrical power
  • Offshore installation pre-commissioning and commissioning experience required
  • Work according to strict HSE principles, adding to the safe working ethos of the company
  • Ensure team objectives are met timeously and accurately and according to industry standards
  • Attend further role based training and commit to advancing skills and qualifications
  • Propose and implement improvements to both systems and safe working practices
  • Candidate demonstrate knowledge of the following systems:  Switch-gear, Freq Controllers, PLC, HV & LV Motors, HV & MV Equipment, Transformers, 480V-13.8kV Distribution Systems, Electrical Control Systems and UPS Battery / Emergency Systems
