An active, hard-working, contract Chief Officer is required for a globally crusing 70-meter private superyacht currently based in the Med. This is a "prove yourself" opportunity for the right person to join an incredible program and a great team, focussed on delivering the highest of standards to the owners and their guests. The vessel is a true global cruiser and this contract will be over the Americas Cup in Spain. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the yachting industry including officer experience and you should be able to show a track record on similar size vessels. You need to hold a minium of Chief Mate 3000GT COC. Note if you do not have this ticket or an equivalent qualifcaiton you won't be considered! Adding skills to the vessel will be very well received i.e., watersports, photography, drone flying, kitesurfer or professional sailor etc. Contract role will involve managing deck crew of 4 deckhands, guest prep, tender runs, navigational planning and watches.
The contract will run August 11th, 2024 to September 13th, 2024 with possiblity to go permanent from mid-November.
