A predominantly AV/IT focused candidate with ETO requirements and knowledge is being sought to join an 80m+ private and charter motor yacht. The ideal individual should have solid experience with IT systems as the role is heavily AV/IT focused. The engineering team may call on the candidate for bridge, tender, electronic and electrical systems. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience (land based or maritime) in the IT field will be preferred. The position is a permanent 2:2 rotation. The vessel is looking for someone keen that is looking for a long term placement to grow their experience on a well known yacht. This position is well suited for someone looking to get into the industry with an IT background and good AV, electrical and electronic knowledge.
 
However other advantageous qualities (but not mandatory) include: 
  • ETO CoC
  • AEC or other engineering knowledge to assist in the engine room 
The candidate will need to join the vessel by the 18th of July 2022 and must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
 
Job Specification
-  Valid STCW '10 certifications and ENG1 Medical Certificate with no restrictions
-  Valid Designated Security Awareness Certificate
-  Must have 2+ years in an IT based role (land or maritime)
-  Working knowledge of the following would be a great advantage:
  -  VMware, VSphere
  -  WSUS
  -  Cisco routing and switching
  -  Cisco UCM
  -  Cisco WLAN
  -  NAKIVO or similar - disaster recovery
  -  Kerio
-  Must speak English fluently, preferably mother tongue
-  Tattoos accepted if not offensive and depending on location
